Underfloor Heating & Heat Pumps in Newport, Shropshire

Brief

We partnered with EnergyZone, a provider of renewable energy solutions, to provide a home in Newport with the best in underfloor heating technology, including the integration of a heat pump as the heat source.

The client required our underfloor heating Shropshire team to provide floor insulation, liquid screed, and a brand-new heating solution for their property.

Key Considerations

Though the property had many new walls built over the years, it was in good condition. An open-plan kitchen and entryway, as well as an additional cupboard, which would require careful zoning around them.

Our primary consideration was the placement of the manifold as well as the heat pump. The manifold had to be placed on an external wall, ideally as close to the pump as possible. This would prevent heat loss as the hot water travelled from the heat pump to the underfloor heating pipes.

What We Achieved

Our underfloor heating Shropshire survey team mapped out the property and determined the most suitable location for the manifold and heat pump. 100mm of floor insulation was laid prior to the pipes, which were then covered by anhydrite-based liquid screed.
