Liquid Floor Screed for a Returning Customer in Hereford

Brief

EasyFlow was commissioned by a returning commercial client to supply and install liquid floor screed for a new build property in Hereford. The project covered a total area of 270m² at a depth of 60mm, applied over an underfloor heating system installed prior to our involvement.

Considerations

To ensure a smooth and efficient installation, our team conducted a thorough site survey ahead of the scheduled work to see if the underfloor heating was installed to a satisfactory level. This proactive approach allowed us to identify potential challenges and implement solutions in advance.

During the site survey, we highlighted a potential access issue due to an extremely muddy site and a high number of parked vans in the designated area our liquid floor screed delivery vans would go. This could have presented a logistical challenge that could have impacted the efficiency of our operation.

What we Achieved

Despite the initial access concerns, the project was completed on schedule with a high-quality self levelling screed finish, meeting all client specifications.

We organised for an additional team member to be present on-site during the self levelling screed pour. Their role was to assist in clearing the area, directing vehicles, and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of materials. This proactive measure helped streamline the process, preventing unnecessary disruptions and ensuring a successful pour.

Our ability to foresee and address potential issues reinforced our commitment to delivering a seamless and professional service. The client was highly satisfied with our approach and execution, further strengthening our long-term working relationship.

This project highlights EasyFlow’s dedication to meticulous planning and problem-solving, ensuring successful project completion even when faced with logistical challenges. Our proactive approach continues to deliver outstanding results for both new and returning clients.
