In January 2020 the homeowner contacted Easyflow to price for his extension and renovation project in Leominster, Herefordshire. 

Having priced to supply, pump and install 240sqm Gyvlon Screed at 60mm we then discussed the option of a faster-drying product with the client. Upon weighing up the benefits of each screed, the client decided to stick with the original anhydrite screed. 

Easyflow operatives surveyed the floor with a laser to determine the right amount of screed required to meet the clients’ datum point and it was established that the floor area and depth were slightly less than originally priced for; meaning we could complete the project under budget! 

Flowmix of Tewkesbury supplied the ready-mixed Gyvlon flowing screed the following morning and operatives were off-site by 11.30 am. In good drying conditions, the client will be walking on the floor within 24 to 48 hours.

In January 2020 Easyflow were approached by the homeowner to screed over some underfloor heating they had already had laid for their new kitchen extension in Chester. Upon arrival to carry out a site survey the day before the planned pour, surveyors discovered that the builders had not left enough depth to get the required coverage with the screed. We gave the customer the option of re-laying the pipes within a structural panel, such as Robbens Systems Profi-Low system, and we could then top this up with a smoothing compound. This would result in a build-up of just 15mm. Another proposed option was to remove the pipes and the thermal insulation below and replace with a lower depth insulation and new pipes.
