Full Underfloor Heating Liverpool Project in Crosby

Brief

The project carried out at this stately property was all about comfort, efficiency, and precision. Our underfloor heating Liverpool team were tasked with providing a full-scope heating package from floor insulation to liquid screed at a large property in the coastal town of Crosby.

Considerations

While the home appeared to be of Tudor period architecture, this was purely cosmetic, and the house was of fairly modern, brick construction. The primary issue was that the ground floor was significantly unlevel in several locations, in addition to suffering from significant heat loss. We planned to use floor insulation to ensure the floor levelling and heat loss issues were remedied prior to the installation of underfloor heating.

What we Achieved

Getting it right meant careful preparation. Jack and the underfloor heating Liverpool team worked hard to ensure a level base, installing 100mm of thermal floor insulation that would boost energy efficiency and minimise heat loss.

Once the heating pipes were laid, concrete-based liquid screed was poured and tamped to a flawless finish. Weeks on, the homeowner is very happy with their new high-performance heated floor.
