Extension in West Shropshire

Brief

M & G Builders Shropshire is a general building company based in our home county specialising in renovations and conversions. In this instance, they contracted us to provide our Easy Standard underfloor heating system for one of their full home renovation projects in West Shropshire.

Key Considerations

This was a fairly modern property in a developed residential area, meaning we had few of the typical complications we expect from a renovation project. The only true limitation we had was the floor build height, which the project manager wanted to keep to a certain height. We had to find a perfect ratio between the liquid floor screeding and the floor insulation, in order to provide the most efficient heating setup for this home.

What We Achieved

Our underfloor heating installers worked closely with the builders to supply and install a low profile reflective insulation, which would keep the floor height within expectations. On top of that, underfloor heating pipes were installed without any issues. This was then left to our liquid screed Shropshire team to pour the best anhydrite screed mix for use with underfloor heating. M & G thanked us for our work and work went ahead for the rest of the renovation project.
