What Is Liquid Screed Made Of?
Anhydrate liquid screeds are made from a mix of a gypsum-based biner, additives, aggregates, and water. The gypsum-based binder used is made of 98% recycled content and the resulting product is 100% recyclable and completely VOC (Volatile organic compound) free! Anhydrate screeds specifically release less Carbon Dioxide than traditional sand and cement overall meaning they are great for the environment.
Types Of Liquid Screed
There are other types of screed available as well, one of the main ones being cement-based screeds which consist of a mix of cement, sand, superplasticiser, binder and water. These products generally produce a smooth, level surface with fast drying properties but Anhydrate types can be tweaked in their composition to be faster drying, stronger, or have better thermal properties.
