What Thickness Is Liquid Screed?

There are many types of liquid screed that can be used to suit many different applications, because of this screed can vary a lot in thickness depending on a lot of factors that include: the amount of insulation used in the underfloor heating system and whether the screed is hand mixed or not, etc… Some specialist screeds can be installed as thin as 12mm up to 100mm but in general, the recommended depth of liquid screeds meant to be used over underfloor heating is 50mm.
